2014 Winter Warmup

So I have decided to try to use Windows 95 exclusively at home for the month of January. I say at home because like many people I am required to use a computer at work. I will try to limit my work computer usage to just work (ie not checking personal email and weather etc, which I shouldn't do anyway, right?).

I will be using period correct hardware:

  • Pentium 120Mhz processor (no MMX)
  • 128 MB EDO RAM (SIMMs)
  • 1.2 GB IDE Hard Drive.
  • 8x CD-ROM
  • S3 Virge GX/DX (2MB RAM?) (PCI)
  • Aztech Sound Galaxy Washington 16 Sound Card (ISA)
  • Accton EN1660 PnP LAN Card (ISA)

OS is Windows 95a with Microsoft PLUS!

Software for my Blog is Microsoft Frontpage 95.

I have the hard drive formatted and ready to go, and will install on day one.
