RETROCHALLENGE

I'd like to start by wishing my neighbors to the North a Happy Canada Day! I spent almost all of the first 14 years of my life in Canada, and didn't know until I was 12 or 13 that I wasn't Canadian! Then, everybody found out and I had to leave.

Ok I made that last part up. On with the games!

Tonight I got the 'ol IIe fired up. She purrs like a kitten. When she's booting. Other than that, she's dead silent. Its a bit eerie in this day and age. He're some imagematic evidence:

The keyboard is indeed acting up, but not to the point where I can't operate the computer. The only real annoyance this evening was the ENTER key sticking for a minute or two. Some repetetive keytapping, soothing words, and general cooing encouraged it back into working order.

While this may seem like good news, it puts me in the position of being the weak link in this relationship. What little disk and program exploring I did this evening served to remind me how rusty my BASIC skills are. I have some catching up to do!
